Guangdong Provincial Administration of Government Services and Data Management announced on 14 Aug 2025 that the HarmonyOS NEXT version of the provincial government collaboration app opened for download/update to provincial government staff, after a native-architecture rebuild; the agency calls it the first million-user HarmonyOS government collaboration app. The same page says Yue Sheng Shi and Yue Shang Tong had joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem and app markets. Caveats: the page says HarmonyOS NEXT, not OpenHarmony; user figures are self-reported; HarmonyOS NEXT is a Huawei-led commercial OS (its relation to OpenHarmony is an inference, not stated).
